Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an
IT Asset Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a remote position. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's United States Coast Guard (USCG) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) program in the Citizen Security & Public Services Sector and Homeland Security business unit. The USCG IMS program delivers a phased journey to mature the delivery of the USCG's managed IT services. The program is focused on strengthening IT infrastructure, modernizing enterprise solutions, and improving service delivery to enable successful execution of USCG missions and mission support activities.
The Asset Manager supports IT Service Management (ITSM) delivery operations by supporting the full lifecycle of all IT assets managed by the program to enable service delivery. The Asset Manager provides consistent and accurate information on all managed IT assets to maximize customer value, control costs, manage risk, safe-guard property, support decision-making, and meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Ensures assets are identified, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensures the accuracy and completeness of asset data and processes to maintain the data.
- Ensures asset records are maintained through the entire asset lifecycle.
- Supports the total asset visibility (TAV), logistics, maintenance, and warranty of assets.
- Supports implementation and management of a total asset visibility solution/tool to improve asset visibility and asset data management.
- Manages the service level agreement (SLA) measurement and reporting requirements for the asset management practice area, including SLAs on hardware and CMDB accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Documents processes, procedures, and controls to enable an effective asset management practice.
- Ensures accuracy of the configuration management database (CMDB) and compliance with asset management processes.
- Supports audits to provide health checks against existing data to ensure the CMDB and automated discovery databases/workflows are consistent with the physical state of all assets and configuration items in the IT environment and vice versa.
- Prepares asset reporting and deliverable requirements to include creating and maintaining asset dashboards.
- Maintains relationships between assets and configuration items.
- Presents continual service improvement ideas and recommendations for action.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; minimum of 9 years with High School Diploma/equivalent
- U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain to obtain a Secret clearance.
- 5 years of Asset Management experience in program organizations responsible for delivering IT services of similar scope and complexity.
- Degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience with IT asset management, asset management databases (e.g., asset database, CMDB), and other ITSM tools, solutions, software.
- ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundation to align with the latest version of DESMF or ability to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements.
- Certified TBM Executive (CTBME) or ability to obtain. Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
