Position: Extraction and Production Technician
Job Description:
Sublime Machining, a key player in the cannabis industry, is currently seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated individuals to cover hybrid roles between Extraction and Production Technician at our Oakland facility.

Job Requirements:
- Operate and maintain extraction equipment; perform extraction processes using ethanol and other solvents.
- Ensure all extractions meet quality and safety standards
- Monitor and document extraction processes and results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Assist in daily cleaning, maintenance and repairs for a variety of equipment and maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist in other general lab operations including cleaning, mixing, and various assigned projects.
- Assist in production of cannabis products (e.g. weight and pack pre-rolls)
- Operate production machinery and equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure product quality.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the production process
- Assist in drafting departmental SOPs
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD
- Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- Experience in a laboratory or production environment
- Understanding of extraction techniques and production processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in various roles and adapt to changing demands
- Ability to lift 45 lbs unassisted; ability to stand for long periods of time
- Experience with mechanics and fluids (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
