Pursuing B. S. degree in Construction Management, Building Construction or related field
Computer expertise with estimating systems, word processing and databases preferred
Familiarity with construction means and methods preferred
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Scope of Responsibility:
Interns assist the Field Engineers, Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, management and delivery of projects for our clients. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the performance of detailed take-offs and pricing in Civil/Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines using a computerized estimating program; assisting in the procurement of subcontractors, materials and equipment; assisting in the development of computerized project scheduling, monitoring and updating schedules; assisting in the application and utilization of the job site information management system; assisting with submittal reviews; and assisting with field inspections and project reporting in support of project management and/or quality control of construction projects.
