Job Description
The Private Client Account Executive- High Net Worth Personal Insurance Professional will be responsible for providing comprehensive insurance solutions and tailored coverage options to affluent individuals and families. The primary focus of this position will be on understanding and assessing the unique insurance needs of high-net-worth clients, building, and maintaining strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service to ensure their assets are protected. This position is tailored to skilled, experienced, motivated professionals and is client facing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, serving as their trusted advisor for all insurance-related matters.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' risk profiles and insurance needs to provide personalized insurance solutions.
- Regularly communicate with clients to review their coverage, address any concerns or changes, and proactively identify opportunities for additional coverage.
2. Insurance Analysis and Policy Design:
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of the client's assets, including properties, valuable collections, luxury vehicles, yachts, and other high-value possessions, to determine appropriate insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to design and customize insurance policies that meet the unique needs of high-net-worth clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging risks that may affect high-net-worth individuals and their insurance requirements.
3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential exposures and vulnerabilities in clients' personal and business lives.
- Provide recommendations and strategies to mitigate risks and protect clients' assets, including the use of risk management techniques and loss prevention measures.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as wealth managers, attorneys, and financial advisors, to develop holistic risk management plans for clients.
4. Claims Management and Advocacy:
- Assist clients throughout the claims process, advocating on their behalf and ensuring prompt and fair resolution of claims.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and adjusters to expedite claims settlements and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in preparing claim documentation and assessing the impact of claims on their overall insurance coverage.
5. Industry Expertise and Continuous Learning:
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, market trends, and emerging products in the high-net-worth personal insurance space.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, such as seminars, conferences, and workshops, to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Share industry insights and expertise with colleagues, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
6. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Proven experience in the insurance industry, specifically in servicing high-net-worth clients.- Experience working in an Independent Agency
- Experience working with clients that have exposure throughout the United States and some international exposure.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the high-net-worth personal insurance marketplace, including admitted and non-admitted carriers.
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products, including, but not limited to, homeowners, auto, umbrella, valuable items, and specialty coverages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex risk profiles and design appropriate coverage solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with affluent clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in insurance industry software and tools. (Preferably the Applied Systems Software Family. (Epic))
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional designations such CPRM, CPRIA, CIC, or CPCU are a plus.
- College degree in a related field, such as finance, insurance, or risk management a plus.
