DevOps Engineers at CSI’s Regulatory Compliance Group work in a team environment to research, design, code, automate, test, and maintain software solutions. You will work cross functionally to ensure end user requirements are met and CSI’s goal of providing innovative technology solutions to our customers is satisfied.

In this role, the Sr. DevOps Engineer will be a technical leader and vital contributor, ensuring quality, guiding teammates and partners, developing automation processes, and improving the way we do work. Responsibilities include applying those values to CI/CD, integration tests, vulnerability scans, monitoring, and escalation as part of a team that is focused on our shared success.

Participate in all phases of our Scrum/Kanban hybrid SDLC - working in concert with our Product, QA, and Development teams
Build and maintain highly available systems for our customers and internal teams
Stay up to date on emerging technologies and how they might be used to meet RCG goals
Bring new ideas to the team, teach best practices, pitch and lead adoption of change
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, proofs of concept
Contribute to feature delivery from technical design through execution and release within our iterative cycle
Identify root cause, propose solutions, and assist in the resolution of production issues
Apply cloud (Azure, AWS) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
Design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
Analyze application and system performance and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
Optimize the company’s computing architecture.
Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
Build robust reporting based on system metrics and logging
Act as a mentor and coach to members across the Delivery Team

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
You have 7+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role - This is a requirement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience acting in a leadership capacity
Proven organization and prioritization abilities
Comfort with working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
Experience developing microservice-based architectures
Strong understanding of object-oriented software design
Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
Proven ability to work in a rapid release production environment
Experience with developing scalable software systems
You possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or relevant field
Experience with infrastructure/resource deployment and management tools/systems (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templet, Puppet, Chef)
You possess a strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins, Selenium, Octopus Deploy)
You can debug and maintain .NET applications
You have experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring
You exhibit expertise in software development methodologies
You have working knowledge DevOps tools like Git and GitHub
You possess a problem-solving attitude
You can work independently and as part of a team
Microsoft stack - IIS, SQL Server
Experience with relational database design and stored procedure development using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and up
Experience with NoSQL
Experience with developing scalable software systems
