NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Cloud Developer with active Top Secret clearance to join our team in Winchester, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Production experience developing, configuring and supporting monitoring systems, alerting and analytics (e.g., Sumo Logic, OpManager, AppD etc)
Familiar with source control tools GIT & SVN
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (TeamCity and/or Jenkins preferred)
Proficient in creating technical documentation & diagrams using Visio or similar
Experience administering web services on Linux using Apache/Tomcat/Oracle
Fluent in AWS CLI
Fluent in Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Amazon) administration & shell scripting (BASH)
Experience with high availability and scalability in AWS
Hands on experience with configuration tools like Salt, puppet, Chef, Ansible
Strong problem resolution, troubleshooting, and QA skills
Basic experience configuring and deploying applications in Amazon Cloud using features such as: Elasticache, Redshift, Lamda, API Gateway
Experience with JAVA, PHP, Ruby & Node.js
Experience with Bash & Python scripting
Experience with Amazon API’s for integration
Profound knowledge of diagnosing software problems
Basic understanding of serverless design concepts and patterns
Basic understanding writing and testing Lambda functions
Demonstrated experience of configuring and deploying applications in Amazon Cloud using core features of that environment such as: Lambda, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, Kubernetes, RDS, Aurora, Redshift, S3, EFS, Elasticache, VPC, ELB, VPC
Basic understanding of building environments with Terraform
Experience with Amazon API’s for integration
Deep understanding of HTTP, HTML5, JS, CSS3, AJAX
Proficiency in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, and exposure to NoSQLbased data stores
Active top secret clearance
10+ years experience in IT building and maintaining production environments in large-scale consumer enterprises
5+ years of hands-on software development coding experience
5+ years of practical experience with the following components of AWS: VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, Redshift, DirectConnect, RDS, SNS, SQS, Lambda
2+ years of hands-on experience implementing AWS including use of AWS APIs
Strong knowledge of leading edge technologies, tools, and software & services vendors
Demonstrated experience learning new software and workflows
Able to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing start-up environment
Bachelors Degree in CS, MIS, or equivalent
