ROMAN Products, LLC is seeking highly motivated individuals to serve in the capacity of General Laborer for our Calumet City, Illinois location.

Summary
The General Laborer will work on the manufacturing floor and run different lines to meet the needs of Roman Product’s customers.
Responsibilities
- Set up, run, monitor, and adjust liquid filling line equipment with labelers.
- Fill cappers, erectors, box tapers and all equipment pertaining to assigned lines.
- Package assemble carton materials, pack boxes and stack materials.
- Provide instructions to line members regarding set up.
- Perform product changeovers and perform minor maintenance and repairs on the line.
- Ensure correct product documentation, batch codes, labels, case labels, pallet tags, and UPC codes of product.
- Adhere to bill of materials by performing 1st piece inspection and checks throughout run on materials, labeling and power weights.
- Perform scheduled sanitation of lines per sanitation schedule.
- Perform housekeeping functions to include cleaning, sanitizing equipment, and filling lines as required.
- Ensure proper shut down of lines and machinery.
- Perform all duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications and Experience Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
· Manufacturing experience a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Excellent attendance record.
· Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Wear steel toes shoes and glasses while in the plant.
· Understanding of basic math.
· Great communication skills.
· Ability to learn all production lines and work efficiently.
· Ability to work as a team.
· Ability to operate and drive a fork lift.
· Mechanical aptitude a plus.
Preferred
· Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
