The primary focus of this role involves coordinating the activities necessary to package and deliver software into a production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Summit Elder Care, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) leverages the NextGen platform, an Electronic Health Record. Summit is a Fallon Healthcare subsidiary. Fallon is looking for an application administer to support this platform.
  • Understand business processes, operational needs, translate into technical business requirements and implementations of application functionality.
  • Determine application priorities with end users and business stakeholders. Assist business in determining impact of releases and application roadmap.
  • Write documentation, and train end users.
  • Primary liason between Fallon and 3rd party application vendor.
  • Enter and monitor support tickets. Advocate for Fallon with vendor and hold vendor accountable.
  • Follow development methodology, business and technical release and change management processes and best practices to ensure system stability and compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Perform systems testing and assist business partners with user acceptance testing.
  • Perform data queries, specify and design reports that support technical, business and compliance needs.
Qualifications
  • College degree in business, healthcare, computer science or related discipline. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate background and experience.
  • 3+ years experience in a business environment preferably healthcare.
  • EMR application experience or strong relevent healthcare experience.
  • Excellent analytical ability, proven problem solving experience.

  • Clinical background or experience working in a clinical environment nice to have
