As an intern in Intel's Corporate Quality Network you will work with a team of engineers that supports the design of Intel's products. You will work with a team that owns the responsibility of designing integrated circuits with a focus in this internship on software tools supporting the design of integrated circuits.
In this specific position you will be working on modifying code of existing design software tools to enhance features, debug and validate respective software code and/or developing new design tool capabilities for design data analysis. Your projects can include support of executing simulation tools to verify compliance of integrated circuits to design and process rules.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous jobs and/or internship experiences.
- Candidate must be pursuing a MS or PHD in Computer Science (CS), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or related field.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of experience with Unix/Linux OS environment scripting and have practical experience in the programming languages of PERL and PYTHON.
- Practical experience with GIT or a distributed version-control system for tracking changes in source code during software development.
- Fundamental background in VLSI circuit design and semiconductor technology is a plus.
