Overall Job Summary The Global SAP Enterprise Architect for Service Management (SM) within Sales & Distribution is the global IT owner for SAP SM and is responsible for aligning the application to MATW operational strategy and to Global SAP team goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for architecting, designing, building and operating their area of functional responsibility while considering the entire SAP landscape.
Designs or re-engineers recognized “best practices” business processes that properly and efficiently utilize the existing SAP functionality & resources that provide a common business practice for use throughout Matthews International.
Maintains SAP Functional Area of responsibility by understanding upkeep/enhancement requirements and designing changes to the existing solution.
Ensures SM-related projects meet customers' needs and are operationally sound - participates in project request assessments to maintain enterprise wide applications alignment.
Provides thought leadership and hands on support to the Master data governance process within their area of SAP Functional responsibility.
Provides on-going day-to-day problem resolution, support, and training for the SAP systems to the user departments throughout the global MATW enterprise.
Configures and documents the global process template in the existing SAP environment. Maintains data standards necessary to facilitate SAP enabled process effectiveness.
Analyzes industry, technology and market trends to introduce art-of-the-possible SAP capabilities to the enterprise.
Acts as a systems engineer the SAP application/solution architecture, optimizing application landscape fit to emerging business need.
Introduces industry relevant best practices and acts as trusted advisor to executive team regarding enterprise value improvement opportunities.
Designs or re-engineers recognized “best practices” business systems that properly and efficiently utilize the SAP system and IT resources that provide a common business practice.
Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, and change agent.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field;
Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred;
8+ years progressive experience performing functional analysis, design, configuration and project management;
5+ years in a leadership role;
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices, and audit compliance.
General knowledge of BW/BObj, SuccessFactors, Concur and SAP overall technology landscape.
SAP ECC 6 EHP 5 or above - NW 7.02
SAP BW 7.5 SP05 or above
SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1
Experience with SAP Sales Processing, including Inquiries, Quotations, Scheduling agreements, Contracts and Standard Sales Orders.
SD integration with SM/CS, MM, FI, LE

Configuration experience:
SAP Service Module/Customer Service processing including notifications, service orders, repairs, functional locations and equipment master.
Make-to-stock, Make-to-order/engineered to order, Variant Configuration, Project Systems, Service orders / Repair order sales, Returns, Credits/Debit Memos, and Consignment.
SAP Delivery Processing, including Handling units, Returns, Subcontract, Project Systems, Cross-company stock transport, plants abroad, standard stock transport, Advance ship notifications, and Group deliveries.
SAP Billing Processes a)Standard b)Returns c)Intercompany d)EDI e)Credit Management.
Output Conditions, user exits, BADI’s and function modules in support of SD.
Master Data – Experience with maintenance processes and load programs for Customer, Credit, Materials, including ATP, Material groups, Serial number, Material determination, and customer info records, Pricing, discounting, commissions, and Sales bills of material, kits.
Business reporting solutions with SAP components (ABAP reports, BW, Business Objects).
General knowledge of integration with ancillary systems (SF.com CRM, Websphere and/or Hybris e-commerce solutions).
Prior experience in manufacturing or professional services industries.
Demonstrated experience in working with personnel located internationally and of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated experience managing external vendors for mutually beneficial relationships.
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
