Full Job Description
This position will be responsible for developing and coordinating marketing events, promotions, direct mail, media and the Marketing Communications (MARCOM) calendar for Home Decor. Individuals in this position will also be responsible for tracking metrics and conducting analysis on all programs and events to evaluate financial and qualitative success. Successful Marketing Specialists will also need to have exceptional communication skills and will be expected to work across cross functional teams to execute marketing activities. In addition to internal communication, the Marketing Specialist will need to communicate with external agencies, suppliers and media. Other responsibilities include managing creative assets, working with creative designers and some digital marketing.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20% Responsible for maintaining the Marketing Communications (MARCOM) calendar
30% Responsible for executing and organizing marketing events and the production of marketing collateral within allocated budget.
30% Design and execute marketing promotions across audio, digital video, social media, digital display, CRM and paid search.
20% Track financial and qualitative results of marketing events and measure ROI
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Manager of Marketing and Catalog
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant condition
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
