A rare opportunity exists to join us in the role of a Developer/Project Manager at our East Hartford, CT campus.

You will handle the creation and management of analytics applications and predictive models that are used to effectively manage multi-billion dollar sales and long-term maintenance contracts for Pratt & Whitney's commercial gas turbine engine customers across the globe.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
As a developer on our Development Analytics team you will collaborate with cross-functional teams that include creative professional with impressive careers: engineers, developers, statisticians, business system architects and user experience authorities.
Primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not developing (as the project demands) the tool/application and adhering to the project management processes and coding standards/guidelines.
You will also collaborate with the digital technology architecture team to ensure that the architectural solution and the standards align with the organization’s standards and guidelines.
You will also be responsible for preparing the role specific artifacts as defined in the project management life cycle.
You are also a US Citizen, due to Government Contracts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in an engineering, physics, math, statistics, computer science or related field of study is required.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of Java based applications development work experience
A minimum 2 years of technical design documentation work experience
Minimum 2 years of SQL work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or other advanced degree in an engineering, physics, math, statistics, computer science or related field of study with 2+ years of professional work experience
A deep understanding of the SDLC processes and methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
You are able to drive alignment among cross-functional teams including influencing business leadership decision-making
A proven history of achieving results within a matrixed organizational structure as defined in the project management life cycle.
Strong oral and written communication skills
