  • Purpose: Provide Reception & Security Support for Corporate office located in NYC midtown area.
  • Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide Reception services
  • Unlock front door.
  • Close rooms when not in use.
  • Maintain knowledge of room schedule and scheduling.
  • Greet and direct guests and participants to appropriate meeting locations.
  • Cover HR positions are necessary
  • Assist program participants and guests
  • Answer general questions about programs office procedures services.
  • Act as point of contact for visitors, participants, and staff.
  • Maintain Office Security Procedures
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Call police or fire department in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Preserve order and protect property.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras of property for intruders.
  • Maintain General Cleanliness of Shared Spaces
  • Perform cleaning duties and assist with room setup.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Assists in executing special projects (i.e. event set-up, research, cleaning, etc.) as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in professional development and training activities as required/necessary.
  • Answer the telephones, respond to inquiries as appropriate, and direct calls to appropriate parties and/or take accurate messages.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere in entrance of office.
  • Contact Property Management to report any issues within the office.
  • Receive, transmit, and distribute deliveries and office .
  • Sort and route incoming mail.
  • Perform light clerical work as needed.

  • Work Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • BA or Associates preferred
  • Requires satisfactory background check.
  • Security experience preferred
  • Requires general knowledge of word processing software programs (i.e., Microsoft word, excel)
  • Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills with temperament and ability to convey information to individuals at all levels of skill development and cultural backgrounds.
