We have an exciting opportunity fora senior technical staff member to play key rolesto develop new products for volume manufacturing. Design and develop epi structuresof III-V VCSEL and DFB lasers to achieve highest performances in terms of optical power, efficiency, wavelength stability, beam angle, modulation speed,reliability, etc.
Data analysis to build correlation between performance and designs.
Failure analysis of issues affecting functionality and performance.
Work closely with internal and external epitaxial engineer, integration engineer, packaging/testingfor product development and quality improvement.
Limited travel (
PH.D degree in EE, materials, optics, physics related to semiconductor lasersindustry experience required.
Hands-on design experience ofIII-VVCSEL or other laser diodesis required. GaAs- or InP-basedDFB laser experience is a plus.
Hands-on MOCVD and/or MBE experience ofGaAs-based and/or InP-based material is required
Experiencein epitaxial characterization, wafer processing, packaging/testing,reliability and failure analysis is preferred.
In-depth knowledge in laser diode physics and modeling.
Track record of successful laser diode development.
Self-motivated, trustworthy, team player and dependable.
Mandarin speaker is advantageous and allows greaterproject flexibility.
Fresh PhD studentwith required laser diode research experience is encouraged to apply.
