Job Summary:
Cannalicious Labs and Detroit Edibles are looking to hire motivated processing team members for our Pinconning, Michigan facility. We are eager to share the fast-paced and exciting world of edibles and concentrate manufacturing. We highly value organized and self-motivating individuals that want to grow their careers in the cannabis industry.
Essential Functions:
- Check-in biomass upon arrival,
- Assist every sub-department with revolving tasks, Hydrocarbon, EtoH, and Distillation,
- Intake and organize physical biomass in freezers and warehouse racks,
- Pack biomass socks for production, when needed,
- Process raw cannabis biomass of its oleoresin,
- Update “Processing Supplies” inventory list on the kiosk every Thursday,
- Following production schedule for proper run sizes and production numbers,
- Updated production schedule,
- Assist Head Processor in any way necessary,
- Lab Technician I must carry out post-processing techniques such as live resin crystallization, flipping shatter patties, whipping badder, parchment paper boat forming, loading boiling flasks, tracking data logs for oven purging, yield calculations (standard deviation), and LEARNING!
- Destroy spent material in full compliance every day if or each week,”
- Follow SOP but talk with the Head Processor about new ideas to make processes faster, safer, etc,
- Depending on attention to detail, may advance as a hydrocarbon, ethanol, or distillation processor,
- Assist with keeping ovens, cold trap, and freezers clean,
- Track EVERY batch ran and its specific variables within the lab logs,
- Distill/clean new solvents purchased from LPG manufacturers,
- Extract the initial herbal biomass into its concentrate form,
- Properly conduct Post-processing residual solvent purging duties for safe consumption,
- Follow Laboratory House Keeping SOP,
- Fill chemical spray bottles,
- Keep lab organized,
- Keep work area clean and organized always,
- Be on time always, give a text/call if running late,
- More potential responsibilities will be added, due to technology advances
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
