Job Summary
Dune Dog Cafe is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience anticipating and exceding, our guests expectations , every guest, every visit, every time.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the our POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and fan favorites.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Uphold all food handling safety standards and restaurant policies.

Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with excellent guest service skills.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
