WHO WE ARE
We are a Bay Area manufacturing company with a strong focus on innovation, design and technology who is looking for a detail oriented Controller to direct and oversee all financial activities of the business, including preparation of current financial reports, summaries and forecasts for future business growth and economic outlook. As a Controller, you will be responsible for developing and administering the company’s overall financial policies and functions to include all accounting, budget, credit, insurance, and tax matters.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a business-minded leader with solid accounting experience and a history of working with senior management to increase net profit through effective financial management strategies. You will have expert knowledge of financial processes and procedures to develop strategies by forecasting capital, facilities and staff requirement to identify monetary resources, and develop action plans. You have strong communication skills to be a strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role, you will guide financial decisions by developing, monitoring, and enforcing internal and domestic financial policies and procedures per GAAP. You will manage international income tax preparation and planning, transfer pricing analysis and planning, and audit preparation for financial statement reporting and government agencies, as necessary. You will monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiate corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances. You will develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism. You will be responsible for financial operations including all accounting, FP&A, payroll, tax accounting, compliance, and cash management. Financial reconciliation and consolidation with multiple international subsidiaries. Analyze General Ledger movements and audit for consistency. Review line items, accounts and reports. Implement process improvements for efficiency and strategic initiatives.
