Clinical Director – Adult Care Homes (see qualifications below):

Responsibilities include but are not limited to directing and supervising all clinical oversight and daily activities for 10+ adult care homes. This will include responsibilities for hiring, training, and development of all levels of management and care staff. It will also include providing the structure to monitor and measure results. An eye for detail is an absolute necessity as is a passion for quality and excellence. Flexibility will be an indispensable characteristic.

The simple objective is for the Clinical Director is to lead and motivate managers and care staff to provide excellent care with kindness and compassion to residents every time we are presented an opportunity. We also must graciously support families as they travel this journey with their loved one. Everything we do must come from a willingness to serve others.

Avendelle Assisted Living is a Wake county based assisted living provider with adult care homes in Raleigh, Rolesville, Apex, and Cary. We provide an alternative solution in providing care for seniors with cognitive challenges. Our adult care homes (residential care homes, family care homes) provide support for all activities of daily living while encouraging independence. Our desire is for residents to maximize their quality of life while aging in place. Our homes provide care for only six residents.


  • LPN or RN license
  • No less than 5 years’ experience working as a Clinical Director
  • Must understand local/state adult care home rules and regulations
  • Experience directing managers and care giving staff (preferably in an adult care home setting) who provide care for seniors who are cognitively impaired
  • Strong team building skills across all levels (managers, caregivers and staff)
  • Dynamic leader who can cast vision and make everyone around them better
  • Seasoned leader who has experience in building processes and procedures while implementing best practices
  • Excellent communicator and listener that can motivate across all levels (managers, caregivers, and staff)
  • Desire and zeal to coach, mentor, develop and inspire staff at all levels, but particularly managers

Pay will be commensurate with skills and experience

  • Care giving for seniors with dementia: 1 year (Preferred)
