InfinityQS is seeking a IT Systems Engineer to join our IT team in our Fairfax, VA office. InfinityQS® is a leading SaaS provider of solutions that service manufacturers worldwide. The IT Systems Engineer will work with an internal IT team that is responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems throughout InfinityQS. This position will ensure the management, support, operation and uptime of IT systems (telecommunications, SaaS applications, servers, sales tools, marketing systems, engineering tools, Microsoft Office applications, databases, etc.) that support daily business operations. Finally, the IT Systems Engineer will serve as backup for client-facing SaaS systems that have been created by InfinityQS to serve clients.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Monitors, optimizes and improves deployed solutions to deliver highest IT systems service levels in an efficient and effective manner.
Maintains knowledge of emerging and maturing technologies, providing analysis and solution recommendations that provide the greatest value to the business.
Develops, evaluates and improves architectures that support highly reliable systems operations which help minimize unplanned downtime.

Manages, configures and supports:
Databases
SharePoint
Active Directory
Virtual Private Networks
Microsoft Exchange
On-premises networks and related hardware
Office 365 and associated applications
On-premises and cloud-based servers
Credentials for accessing a wide variety of IT systems.
Troubleshoots and corrects unexpected incidents that occur in a variety of different IT systems.
Aids all InfinityQS departments as needed, ensuring stability/scalability and performance of software and services.
Provides backup support for native InfinityQS SaaS client offerings which will require knowledge of:
Database systems
Citrix Metaframe
Microsoft Azure and associated infrastructure and services
Hosted desktop applications and services.
Executes or assists with vulnerability testing, validation testing and other security-related tasks.
Works non-standard business hours to attend meetings with remote teams, perform maintenance activities, and conduct system-critical support.
Participates in critical support projects which support efficient operation and uptime of systems 24/7/365.
Maintains effective working relationships with InfinityQS employees and clients.
Represents InfinityQS with a professional and positive demeanor.
Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
8+ years of experience in information technology or computer sciences.
1+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp 7.5.
Microsoft IT Certifications strongly desired.
Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Messaging
Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator
Microsoft Certified IT Professional Server Administrator
Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certifications

Experience with the following:
Microsoft Azure, the Azure Portals and ARM
Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft Exchange
Microsoft SQL Server and associated administrative activities and tools
Microsoft Office 365 and its components including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other supporting tools
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required.
Highly self-motivated, and able to prioritize and manage strategic and tactical tasks with varying deadlines.
Able to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers/clients, and to work cooperatively with each.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Able to work outside of normal business hours to support 24/7/365 system uptime.
Able to access internet and connect to applications remotely to troubleshoot and fix critical incidents during non-standard business hours.
Able to maintain confidentiality of company and Client information.
Able to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 15%.
Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and employment reference background check.
