Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Operations, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and support the transformation of data into information to provide actionable insights to enhance and expand the quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of customer relationships, products and services provided by Matterport. This role will represent our culture of customer focus in solving challenging business problems with ingenuity, intelligence and diligence. Candidates must be able to not only analyze complex data sets with an acute attention to detail but also provide hypotheses and test why specific metrics are changing along with methods of analyzing datasets.
Analyze problems and business data requiring complex methods to ensure accurate findings and apply applicable recommendations for business decisions.
Provide sales forecasting, sales trend analysis and lead conversion data.
Design, deliver, and improve the way the company looks at data and makes data-based decisions.
Understand sales and executive business needs, working closely with them to provide solutions, and align end user business needs with high levels of functionality.
Build and support dashboards, scorecards, periodic reports, and other analytical services.
Develop analytics solutions that bring analytics to life using design thinking concepts.
Design, build and automate key business metrics.
Build processes and standards that build trust with data and provide consistent metrics across the organization.
5+ years of experience working with sales and/or marketing processes supporting analytics.
Must be results-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm to personally jump in and roll up the sleeves.
Exceptional analytical skills and comfort working within an environment of data uncertainty where programs are measured against quantitative objectives.
Strong experience with Salesforce.com, Pardot, etc.
3+ years of experience with modern analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Tight-knit collaboration skills to work with others toward the same outcome and get timely results.
Ability to multi-task multiple projects and competing priorities.
Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related area.
MBA is preferred.
