Responsibilities:
As a tutor, your primary role will be to lead personalized one-on-one or small group sessions aligned with our students' specific educational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding students to grasp fundamental concepts outlined in their personalized curriculum binder
- Implementing engaging and effective activities tailored to individual learning styles to enhance retention
- Assisting students in achieving academic milestones set by One on One Learning
- Providing constructive feedback to foster ongoing improvement
Qualifications: We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 60 credit hours towards an Education or college degree
- Demonstrated experience tutoring in Elementary , Middle and High School subjects, preferably in Reading and Math
- Availability to tutor in person during after school hours, in the students' home
- Possess a valid Teaching Credential in the state of California
- Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey
Schedule:
Part-time. After 3:00pm, 2-3 days a week
Compensation:
$28 per hour
