BonneVie MD Aesthetics, coming soon to Worthington, Ohio, is seeking a qualified physician medical director to provide appropriate off-site clinical supervision to a team of aesthetic providers. BonneVie MD will provide the high quality services and an exceptional client experience.
Job Summary:
The medical director must ensure that established medical protocols are followed and appropriate supervision of clinical staff is provided to ensure quality outcomes and address any clinical care needs.
Medical Supervision:
· Review and approve medical protocols, updating to reflect new procedures and protocols as needed.
· Maintain a close familiarity with the established protocols and treatment contraindications.
· Stay well-informed on all clinical aspects of the services offered.
· Ensure all non-physician providers under your supervision:
o Have adequate and appropriate training for the services they will provide.
o Perform their duties in a safe and appropriate manner.
o Adhere to the physician orders and the instructions and directions provided in the
written protocol.
o Possess and maintain the proper credentials to perform services in alignment with
state regulations.
· Communicate with clinical provider(s) to whom on-site delegation is designated, as required.
· Be available for communication with staff via phone, text, or email during business' hours of operation, to assist with questions related to treatments and patient outcomes, responding in a timely manner.
· Ensure appropriate maintenance and storage of patients’ medical records.
· Regularly perform and document a chart review at the level required by state regulation. Provide the appropriate level of clinical oversight, review, and direction as required for aesthetic medical practices within the state.
Must have training and experience with non-surgical aesthetic treatments, with emphasis on injectable neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and energy-based devices.
Supervisory requirements may change based upon needs of practice or changes to state regulations. Any changes in commitment or availability will be mutually agreed upon.
