General Overview of RN Nurse Manager Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the assisted living nursing department
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Coordinate and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
- Manage the budget for the nursing department and allocate resources effectively
Skills needed for RN Nurse Manager:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of memory care and assisted living
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
