Maggie Louise Confections is a dynamic Austin-based chocolatier and confectionary creating stunning gourmet molded chocolates by hand. We're a small team but we have big goals for fast growth! Design print materials and collateral art for Maggie Louise Confections retail product lines and supporting our sales team by creating collateral for our custom clients in a fast paced environment.
Design and manage all collateral art including but not limited to: chocolate box inserts, invitations, labels, stickers, display cards and other brand collateral.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product Design teams to create custom collateral for corporate clients.
Work with MLC standards and systems for for electronic file storage, project management and tasking systems. Seek opportunities to improve systems and increase efficiency when possible.
Produce all files for print materials in a timely manner and deliver to the correct stakeholders.
Conduct quality control and review of all printed products and maintain brand standards.
Communicate effectively with third party vendors regarding graphic design products while ensuring brand standards and client requirements are met.
A thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Has the ability to work efficiently and in a timely manner in order to meet strict deadlines
Excellent writing, editing and communication.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
A passion for always acquiring new knowledge and following the latest trends and developments in design and technology.
Self-starter, highly motivated, well-organized, strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications) or a related field with equivalent or practical experience.
Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio
