Job Title: Sales Manager- Regional

Summary:
The Sales Manager will develop strategy to drive sales volume within the financial objectives of Kiolbassa, by leading a sales team and external brokers. Guided by our Mission, Vision and Values, the manager will build and nurture strong relationships with consumers, customers, and Kiolbassa team members.

This position does not have direct reports

Department Objectives:
Achieve established Kiolbassa Sales and Financial goals
Ensure team meets established assigned Kiolbassa sales and budget goals.
Forecast all Team sales and budget goals within the range established by VP of Sales.
Support Team as needed to accomplish goals
Deliver outstanding external and internal communication skills
Manage and oversee internal communication of customer/geography Kiolbassa performance and business intelligence of Strategic customers
Ensure all Brand Story/Strategy collateral is used in timely fashion effective fashion.
Lead and direct total team by ensuring clarity with roles, responsibilities and most importantly results so team can make efficient effective future plans.
Champion Food Quality and Safety
Ensure regulatory compliance with customer and company policies & procedures related to team member safety, food safety, and quality programs
Develop customer and consumer relationships
Build and nurture relationships that drive upward strategic connectivity to drive long term business
Find and support community enrichment opportunities in area of responsibility
Develop effective customer calls, broker meetings, and third-party presentations to provide consistent contact with external key decision makers
Enrich the lives of others through great leadership.
Team members – foster VBL and personal education goals
External brokers – Use VBL tools
Personal Development – continue education

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license, driving record within MVR policy guidelines, reliable transportation

Experience:
5+ years. Prefer meat background, selling in the retail food channel
Preferred: Experience with strategic planning, prospecting, networking and/or new business development

Knowledge/Skills:
Computer skills – Requires proficient computer skills, i.e., generating business letters, spreadsheets, or creating queries, business trade plan development, power point presentation skills, and proficiency in building a sales story. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on MS Excel

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Ability to travel in vehicle or plane
Involves routine exposure to outside weather conditions, temperatures
Must be able to work in office environment and/or customer locations
Must be able to work sitting and use computer for extended period of time
Must be able to stand, walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to periodically reach, lift and carry merchandise (up to 10 – 50 pounds)
Requires talking, seeing, hearing and using fine dexterity skills as required to complete assignments
