Central Research, Inc. is actively seeking a Procurement Technician III for immediate hire at a Federal client site in Herndon, VA. The Procurement Technician III position will provide full life cycle acquisition and procurement support for the shared services business center offering acquisition services internally and for other federal agencies.
Responsibilities & Duties:
The position will support acquisition staff with the preparation of pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications and requests for proposal, and conduct market research.
Associates degree is required. Substitution of one year of experience for each year of required education is allowed
3 years experience (minimum)
Providing acquisition support for preparation of pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications, draft requests for proposals, and in conducting market research
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be proficient with using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
Proven administrative skills: filing, copying, scanning, maintaining electronic files, and development of draft contract action documents
Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills Other Information
Must be a team player, with ability and willingness to work with others
Work core business hours onsite Monday through Friday. Telework authorized after 90 days (Ad hoc and Telework Fridays).
