About the Human Resources Business Partner Role:
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our rapidly expanding team. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a trusted advisor to Dorilton's senior leadership team and our Portfolio leadership, focusing on a broad range of HR initiatives designed to attract, retain, and develop top talent. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a tremendous resource to the business in providing sustainable HR solutions to the various companies across our Portfolio and deliver value-added services and programs in alignment to Dorilton's values. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities supporting the Portfolio, the HRBP will take ownership of key initiatives and drive projects to completion.
Partner with the Portfolio Companies in order to understand their goals and objectives, and design and implement a Human Resources strategy aligned to those objectives
Build trusted advisor relationships across the Portfolio, providing consultative, strategic, and tactical guidance to support our Portfolio's organizational and development initiatives
Coach, guide, and mentor managers and senior leaders in their leadership functions and responsibilities
Work closely with business leadership – at Dorilton and across the Portfolio - to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Partner with Portfolio Company stakeholders to ensure they meet day-to-day tactical demands while building and maintaining credibility via flawless execution, according to business needs
Collaborate with the Dorilton HR team to deliver initiatives related to talent management, organizational design, compensation, and workforce planning; sensitively and effectively drive change within client groups as appropriate
Proactively manage and mitigate risk by partnering with the Dorilton HR team and Portfolio Company stakeholders
Stay abreast of new developments in HR strategies and practices, and proactively communicate your findings across the Portfolio and to the Dorilton team
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
At least 7 years of HR generalist experience, along with working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines - including talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and compensation practices
Evidence-based mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a thoughtful approach that demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making skills
Proven experience building strong business partnerships and fostering relationships with employees and other key stakeholders
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience working in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment; ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
A client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to display a strong bias-to-action, with a results-oriented approach to work
