As Global Digital Marketing Manager, you will help establish a unified global digital experience for New Balance by developing content and campaigns that are both data and consumer-driven. You will be integral in shaping our digital consumer experience across devices and delivering strategic brand communications globally. This role reports to the Head of Global Content and Digital Marketing and will oversee a team of community managers and content creators.
Manage and program our social media channels with best-in-class content – developing guidelines, editorial calendars, concepting and producing campaigns, and establishing a distinct copy tone, all with seamless visual consistency
Implement a social commerce strategy to optimize paid social campaigns for ads/promoted content to drive consumer acquisition
Build scalable social/digital programs that align to global marketing game plan and can be easily executed by regional marketing teams, while also allowing for local nuances
Define the strategy of paid/owned/earned/shared social across the connected consumer funnel in a way that maximizes each social platform’s unique strengths to drive brand love, engagement, and sales.
Always have an eye on trends and identify new opportunities to innovate
Activate and supervise a social care strategy, including a crisis management protocol across channels and regions
Integrate athletes and influencers into social activations for key story amplification
Implement and run an employee advocacy program
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
5+ years of relevant digital and social marketing experience at brand or agency
Proven track record of delivering quantifiable results through multi-platform digital marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of and POV on the role of paid, owned, and earned social strategies across existing and emerging platforms
Demonstrated ability to innovate, take calculated risks, and push boundaries
Ability to analyze and react to performance data
Travel required; global experience a plus
