Are you passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences through expert nail care? At Aria Spa and Salon, we’re looking for a talented Manicurist to join our dedicated team. In this role you’ll provide top-notch nail care services in a luxurious setting, helping our guests unwind and feel their best!
THE JOB:
As a Manicurist, you will play a key role in crafting a memorable guest experience through your warm and inviting demeanor. By attentively addressing each guest's unique needs and preferences, you will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: Commission-based pay
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to surpass guest expectations
- Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide a range of nail care services, such as manicures, pedicures, and gel and acrylic applications, while ensuring both creative and technically accurate results according to treatment and departmental standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, retail offerings, and the latest trends in nail care services and techniques
- Promote and sell service treatments, enhancements, upgrades, and retail products effectively
- Perform other job duties as necessary
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Holds a current Cosmetologist License from the State of Nevada
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain both a Food Handler’s & Alcohol Awareness cards
- Has professional experience with acrylic and gelx nails
- Must be able to life and carry 10 pounds
- Must be 21 years of ago or older
- High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Two (2) years of previous Manicurist experience
- Prior experience in Retail
- Prior experience in in a similar luxury spa or salon setting
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
