DEPARTMENT: CH - 6 North.
Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a change agent. Develop, motivate, assess and negotiate as a change agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph's/Candler Health System policies and procedures.
Requirements: Bachelor is Nursing is preferred. Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing and current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia is required. Additional unit specific education and or certification may be required. 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical experience is required. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a RN. Must have the ability to work effectively with fellow employees, MD’s, and patients as well as the genral public. Must have experience related to the field.
