Commonwealth Psychology Associates(CPA) is pleased to offer a full-time post-doctoral fellowship in clinical or counseling psychology starting in July/August 2019. The fellow will join an award-winning organization that includes a multi-disciplinary team of +/- 50 full-time clinicians including Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Psychiatrists and Nurse prescribers who offer a comprehensive range of services for adults, adolescents and children. CPA has 5 locations in greater Boston but the fellowship position will be in downtown Boston.
The fellow will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of talented clinicians who work together to provide the best care possible for clients. As a member of the therapy team, the fellow will gain experience in evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, health psychology/behavioral medicine, biofeedback & stress management training, as well as traditional psychodynamic models. Tele-Psychology training also is provided.
Also, the fellow will actively participate in the weekly all-discipline clinical meeting and other weekly specialty meetings such as the neuropsychology case conference meeting, the psychopharmacology meeting, the Tele-Psychology meeting and other special interest meetings.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, there is an expectation that the fellow will participate in a data/research project such as assisting with our ongoing Outcomes Assessment program.
CPA’s team model also affords the opportunity for a fellow to learn about and gain exposure to all other CPA disciplines and services including neuropsychology, psychopharmacology and medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy for Depression and more.

Post-doc Leadership & Perspective
The Post-Doctoral Fellowship program is overseen by the Founder of CPA, Dr. Andrea Piatt, who has a long-standing interest in teaching and training. Dr. Piatt has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor and supervisor of psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows at the Albert Medical School of Brown University and as an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and supervisor of post-doctoral fellows in neuropsychology.
CPA was built upon the scientist-practitioner model and today continues to rely on continual learning and training to ensure that our clinicians are bringing the the latest research, science and evidence-based practice to their work with clients everyday.
Ideal candidates enjoy being part of a team and are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, highly professional and fun. Position requires completion of Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited institution prior to start date. Completion of APA-accredited internship also required.
