Marketing Student Associate
We are seeking an innovative self-starter to fill the role of Marketing Student Associate/Intern. This position will support the marketing and communication needs for the Niagara Sales, Marketing and Human Resources departments, including brand management, trade show and event support, social media management and development and execution of communication plans.
Writing, coordinating, and developing materials related to retail (internal and external) marketing efforts. This includes web content, presentations, flyers, sell sheets, etc.
Provide vendor direction to develop effective creative materials
Ensure brand standards are upheld and that appropriate parties approve materials and ensures proper legal markings are adhered to
Keep project budget tracking accurate
Facilitate asset gathering (style guides, graphics, product photography, etc.)
Facilitate internal marketing efforts in regards to Niagara’s internal education platform
Assist with the registration and preparation process for trade shows and events
Maintain record of tradeshow and events paperwork/timelines
Coordinate product selections, shipping requirements, and follow-up for tradeshows
Assist with internal Human Resources communication efforts to include quarterly newsletter, newspaper job ads, career fair collateral and charitable updates
Assist with production of quarterly newsletter to include editing and design
Manage the internal Niagara brand requests to include logo distribution, branded merchandise and marketing collateral
Source internal promotional items
Develop recruiting collateral for Human Resources department including copywriting, editing and design (general employment brochures/flyers, plant career fair/job ads, etc.)
HR communications templates as needed
Creative development (coordination with Graphic Designer, Photographer, Videographer, etc.)
Traveling to various locations for videography purposes
Assistance with proofing of scripts in conjunction with lists of video shots
Organize and coordinate corporate office and manufacturing plant photo shoots with all necessary participants
Manage social media accounts for Niagara Brand and Niagara Careers
Assist with the development of engaging content and images that align with Niagara’s brand identity
Monitor and respond to messages and posts in a timely fashion
Utilize social media analytics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement of social channels
Some administrative tasks required
Performs other related duties as assigned to accomplish department goals

Work Experience/KSA’s

Required:
0 – 2 years of experience in a related field and/or position
  • experience may include a combination of work experience and education
Preferred:
Two years of experience in Marketing related field
Beverage or private label consumer goods experience a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Availability and flexibility to work Company operational hours, which may include weekday evenings and weekends
Light travel required (trade shows, events, sales summits, conferences, etc.)
Education

Required:
In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Business Administration with coursework in marketing, brand management and advertising
