Regarding this position:
Reports to VP of Operations
The Site leader is responsible for the efficient operation of the center, EXCLUDING the operational performance and production of the business.
At SoFi, you’ll become part of a new kind of finance company based around speed, transparency, and alignment with our members’ interests. We created student loan refinancing, addressing the biggest financial challenge of a new generation through a modern approach to lending and personal finance. We expanded into other types of loans, and then into insurance and wealth management with similarly inventive products and soon to be launched SoFi money a modern take on a checking or savings account. As the company has grown, we’ve been able to help more people with these tools. SoFi has achieved significant growth, with ambitious plans ahead, but to continue this growth we need great talent.
The position includes, but is not limited to:
Oversees facility safety and security
Manages direct reports and site-specific vendors
Reviews and Approves/Declines Operations expense report submissions, in accordance with policy
Represents of Sofi in the community (activities, Chamber of Commerce, etc.)
Manages employee morale budget for site, in conjunction with HB Business Partners
Manages employee recognition and employee of month programs for the site, in collaboration with other site leaders and HR
Responsible for site wide communications
Responsible for facility and space management
Operational lead for cultural diversity and inclusion initiatives
Responsible for site business continuity/disaster recovery efforts
Responsible for coordination of SoFi site visitors (execs, investors)
Gather voice of Employee and serve as an advocate for areas under direct control of the Site Leadership function
Coordinate sitewide initiatives on behalf of internal partners and other business units like HR, Facilities, IT and Corporate.
Significant non -standard work hours, including nights, weekends and holiday
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of the organizational staff
Some site to site travel
At least 3 years’ people management experience
Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Creative and positive problem solver.
Ability to learn the SoFI business and be in touch with the team members in which this position supports.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; four year college degree preferred
Experience working in a organization with varied shifts (early, mid, late, overnight, etc.)
Articulate and Polished; successfully represents the organization at external events
