About Us:
A Village for One is a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic housing to survivors, ages 12-17, of Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE). A Village for One empowers each member of our community, our village, to unite in the effort to heal the impact of commercial sexual exploitation on our youth and community. We work collaboratively with a youth's family as well as other professionals and community partners. A Village for One is committed to hiring individuals with lived experience of racial and social equity.
Our Philosophy of Care:
Each youth comes from their own unique experiences and needs. We believe in fully accepting each youth for where they are in their process and developing self. Through this perspective we provide a holistic healthcare approach that is designed to meet each of their physical, mental, and spiritual needs throughout their healing.
