Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. (BEC) is a geotechnical engineering / construction services company and is hiring for both our Reno, Nevada and Carson City, Nevada offices.
We are seeking full-time Construction Inspectors. Competitive hourly wage rates depending on experience and certifications. In-house training is available for technical certification for all individuals.

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR/TESTER
Summary: Knowledge of construction principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing and inspection, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Field Technician, or an Associate’s Degree in a construction-related field and 1 year of progressively responsible construction inspection experience, or a minimum of 2 ICC certifications (e.g. reinforced concrete, structural masonry, etc.) and 1 year of progressively responsible construction inspection experience is preferable.
- Certification in any NAQTC modules, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Nuclear density gauge certification.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification.
- A current and valid driver’s license.
- Competitive hourly wage rate DOE.
CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN
Summary: Basic knowledge of construction principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing and inspection, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Nuclear density gauge certification provided in house.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable
- A current and valid driver’s license.
- Certification in any NAQTC modules, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable.
- Competitive hourly wage rate DOE.
Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. is always looking for potential employees with one or more of the following certifications:
- NDE
- ACI
- ICC (Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Post-Tension Concrete, Structural Bolting, Structural Welding)
- AWS – Certified Welding Inspector
- ASNT (Level II, Ultra-Sonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing)
