Our Operating Room:
16 OR Suite
Teamwork environment where you will be responsible for helping everyone in the department (i.e. Scrub Cases)
Types of surgeries conducted: Thoracic, colorectal, general gynecology, gynecological oncology, general surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), urology, urogynecology, plastic surgery and neurosurgery.

What will be your job responsibilities and expectations?
Stock operating room supplies and/or synesthesia supplies daily.
Maintain anesthesia supply inventory.
Provide for patient safety while transporting patients within the hospital and surgical services department.
Safely assist in the positioning of surgical patients.
Provide daily cleaning of the operating room.
Operate, maintain and store all equipment in a knowledgeable, safe and efficient manner.
Demonstrates flexibility in unit to perform other tasks that may be assigned.
Appropriately handle all trash, regulated medical waste and soiled linens within the department.
Communicate effectively with staff, peers, physicians, director, head nurse, external and internal customers.
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant program (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
Licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant (preferred)
Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
Previous healthcare experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
PRN, weekend and holiday requirements
