Country Intelligence Group is seeking Full-Time ISSO Support Team personnel to support our client located in College Park, MD. These are hybrid positions meaning work will be completed both remotely and onsite. The candidate will perform duties in support of The National Archives (NARA) system management.
Tasks Performed:
- Perform regular security assessments and audits of information systems to ensure compliance with federal government standards, including FISMA, RMF, and NIST SP 800 series.
- Create and update security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports (RARs), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Ensure documentation aligns with NARA and federal government requirements.
- Collaborate with system owners, application developers, and engineers to implement security measures and address security issues.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or other related analytical, scientific or technical discipline (Required)
- In lieu of a BS/BA degree, the Key Personnel must have a minimum of Ten (10) years of ISSO experience.
- CISSP and CGRC (previously Certified Authorization Professional) Certifications highly preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in IT security, including SA&A and/or IT security risk analysis, preferably in support of the Federal Government.
- Knowledge of Federal Government SA&A practices and policies, particularly FISMA, CNSS, NSM-8, NSM-10, RMF and NIST Special Publications 800 series.
- Familiarity with Cyber Executive Order 14028 and supporting guidance.
- Industry recognized and accepted certifications relating to IT security preferred (CISSP, CGRC (previously Certified Authorization Professional), GIAC, CEH, TNCP, Security+, Network+ etc.).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with application developers, engineers and others.
- Must be motivated and results oriented.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Previous Federal Government experience is a plus.
