Cognizant Digital Engineering Consulting: Consulting Product Manager, Energy & Utilities

The Product Manager will help Cognizant to build and execute our advisory consulting business with tier one Energy & Utility clients and help them drive their strategic initiatives.
Specifically, the responsibilities are as follows:
Job title: Digital Engineering Consulting Product Manager
Roles and responsibilities:
Working with clients to define the product strategy and product roadmap.
Working with UX teams to define and build compelling customer experience across channels: web, iOS and Android.
Working closely with engineering and architects to define, build and launch amazing products.
Partnering with Data Analytics to identify critical metrics to focus on, running A/B tests to drive engagement and growth.
Collaboration with global sales, marketing, engineering and other team members.
Identify potential opportunities and develop industry specific Consulting Offerings
Author articles/whitepapers that demonstrate thought leadership
Act as a mentor to consultants and senior consultants.
Support lateral recruitment - initial screening/interviews
Lead team of Consultants / Business Analysts reporting for specific consulting assignments / Pre-sales functions
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
Advanced degree in business management (MBA) is highly desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in product management
Deep knowledge of all aspects of product management from inception to sunsetting products.
Good understanding of Product Engineering and the Agile development process.
Experience in management consulting with a management and/or technology consulting firm is a big plus.
Experience in client relationship management and pre-sales support in the Technology industry in a consulting or industry practitioner role
Intuitive knowledge of technology and infrastructure.
You will possess a consistent track record in consulting, broad industry acumen and domain knowledge of the software industry and business processes experience around one or more of the following: software licensing & pricing, entitlement management, renewals, digital marketing, sales operations, channel management, customer experience, quote-to-cash, high tech manufacturing, online / ecommerce, Supply chain management
General Skills / Abilities:
Strong results orientation with the ability to positively affect client outcomes.
Consulting Project Delivery leadership and oversight of multiple smaller consulting projects.
Being enthusiastic, self-starter with a growth mindset and positive outlook.
Product management, analytical, financial, strategy, and leadership.
Excellent communication and social skills.
A passion for committed execution and continuous learning.
Comfort with working on ambiguous problems with incomplete data.
Fearlessness with asking questions and learning new things.
