This position reports to the Midwest District General Manager and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the building solutions and service business within the District geography (IA, IL, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI). You will be challenged to use business development discernment and leadership skills to lead a business consultant sales team to achieve the financial / non-financial goals through the implementation of sales strategies and processes. You will utilize your experience in the industry to direct, coach, lead and mentor a sales force that provides high quality service and solutions in primarily the Building Automation industry with additional focus on Fire and Security systems. We are looking for someone to partner with the District Leadership Team to provide strategic sales growth direction to drive sales, geographic expansion and increase market share in all assigned branch locations through your involvement on Impact Reviews, Account Plans and key customer meetings. You will direct leadership of sales professionals including hiring, mentoring and developing. Responsible for development and execution of sales to meet annual order goals.

You must have
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical systems, Fire, or Security, or Building Controls business to business development experience or in lieu of a degree 10 years of experience with mechanical systems, Fire, or Security, or Building Controls business to business development experience
Minimum of 2 years of sales management leadership experience
MBA or Engineering Degree.
Excellent organization & project management skills
Successful experience leading a geographically dispersed sales team.
Validated ability to work and sell across various diverse markets.
Deep understanding of P&L and how to build business case for sales growth investments.
Confirmed experience developing and executing strategies for growth.
Build sales strategies from market data across multiple geographies/industries and uses common sense approach to execution.
Creative, high energy and ability to energize and encourage others.
