Define project scope, goals, and deliverables

Experience managing large, complex projects with a proven track record of delivery.

2. Previous experience providing Program Management in a large schools district.

3. Knowledge of Healthcare API data flows and electronic data interchange gained from

Educational, Healthcare Provider or IL Dept. of Human Services.

4. Hands-On software development and data analytics experience

Coordinate all aspects of the project to ensure completion within defined timelines

Act as a liaison between key stakeholders and the project team members to ensure transparency in expected outcomes for the project

Learn about the operations of key functional areas of the company to ensure key stakeholders are properly identified before projects begin and as projects evolve

Create presentation material as needed for project teams and functional meetings

Communicate project status with key stakeholders

Complete finalization of projects including training manuals and training sessions on new processes

Ad hoc reporting & analysis where required

The project manager will be responsible for:

Creating and executing project work plan and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs

and requirements

Producing project reports and performance metrics

Identify and manage project risks

Using influence to eliminate bottlenecks and potential resource alignment problems

Managing projects within standard project management methodologies to time, quality and


Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities

Managing through all stages of the project life cycle

Managing stakeholders and stakeholder expectations

Building strong project teams across multiple CPS divisions

Providing excellent service to clients (internal and external to ITS)

Effectively managing vendor relationships strategies and directives.

Providing project status and other deliverables at each stage of the Project Management


Demonstrating a willingness to collaborate and support the PMO and ITS peers and leadership

Planning, directing and implementing projects on time, within budget and with desired


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with an emphasis on full project ownership
  • Understanding of various business aspects to lead varied types of projects
  • Proven success with project and change management
  • Experience working with MS Excel
