Kelly Services has partnered with a client company that is looking to fill three (3) temporary Payroll Analyst position in Cary, NC. The position has a target rate of $33hr, and is expected to last six months from the start date, with potential for permanent placement.
Working with this client, you will be assigned to a multinational corporation operating mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas. It has been a global Fortune 500 company for 24 years.
The Analyst’s main responsibilities are:
Monitors payroll tax activity
Accountable for analysis of payroll or Masterdata related entries that impact the accuracy of tax withholding or reporting. Helps identify drivers for these abnormalities, researches, analyzes and documents as well as propose corrective action
Responsible for recording, monitoring, and resolving agency tax notices & tracers with 3rd party provider & government agencies, as well as validating of all agency responses
Reviews & confirms that all payroll tax deposits are accurate and executed on-time to eliminate any late filing penalties
Identifies unusual transactions, escalates when appropriate, coordinates resolution and interacts with 3rd party payroll provider
Performs detailed jurisdictional reconciliations for internal & external audits
