The Federal Savings Bank, a Federally Chartered Bank and National Mortgage Lender, is currently seeking highly motivated and skilled, recent college graduates and mortgage professionals with 1-2 years experience to join our team as a Data Analyst. The role of a Data Analyst is to work closely with operations and sales managers to develop ongoing programs, strategic analyses, and provide actionable data to senior management.

The Data Analyst is a key part of the centralized team that helps to improve the effectiveness and profitability of the Consumer Direct mortgage lending division.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help manage and be a key interface for the CRM system. Be able to develop workflows, set up marketing campaigns, make recommendations for improved performance, and troubleshoot issues
  • Acquire and manipulate data from multiple data sources
  • Interpret data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Manage and track marketing expenses in total and by office and reconcile expenditures with accounting on monthly basis
  • Maintain and update direct marketing database for regulatory and tracking purposes
  • Oversee marketing spend and work with sales managers on their monthly lead plans
  • Perform ad hoc reporting for managers
  • Manage projects as assigned
  • Transform system and marketing solutions through analysis of data
  • Build excellent relationships with outside partners and internal sales and operational teams
  • Support and Assist Director of Business Strategy in helping to improve the performance of the Consumer Direct Mortgage Business
  • Work effectively under specific time constraints

Job Requirements:
  • 4 year college degree required or commensurate Mortgage industry experience
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • CRM knowledge as administrator or sophisticated user (Preferably Velocify or Salesforce platform)
  • Understanding of big data and ability to synthesize and present data in manageable formats
  • Advanced Excel knowledge required
  • Ability to conduct market analyses and implement solutions
  • Mortgage experience preferred
  • SQL and Domo familiarity desirable
  • Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a strict adherence to deadlines
