Full Job Description
The Director, Clinical and Wellness Coaching, Design and Delivery, is the leader of health coaching programs and services in the US. The Director will hire, train, and manage health coach team members to deliver effective health coaching services to consumers, patients, and caregivers in a supportive, empathic, and non-judgmental manner to support lifestyle improvement and chronic condition management. The Director will manage training, programs, content, and services in order to achieve health coaching goals and objectives, which are focused on improving the health outcomes of patients and improving the quality of life of patients and caregivers. The Director will also manage external health coaches, consultants, and vendors to develop and deliver effective health coaching services and programs. The Director will also support the design of new capabilities and functionality for the digital tools used for health coaching, including a custom web portal developed to support health coaches. The Director will also provide health coaching expertise and input for assessment and improvement of administrative and operational practices, proposed product and program improvements, and development of new products and services.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience as a health coach, care Director, community health worker, psychologist, physician, nurse, and/or social worker OR high school and at least 9 years experience as a health coach, care Director, community health worker, psychologist, physician, nurse, and/or social worker.
Experience with digital health tools or software systems to support care management, patient care, clinical services, or social services
Willing to travel up to 10 days per year for training and other business purposes (within state and out of state)
At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or a related field
Experience with clinical research or applied research
Experience in improving the health of a distinct population of patients in the ambulatory or community setting
Experience in behavioral science, behavioral economics, behavioral psychology, or behavior change principles and methods
Experience authoring/co-authoring training materials, research reports, case reports, journal articles, or other significant writing work
Experience with project management (e.g., planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
