Bracebridge is seeking to hire a talented graduate student as a co-op in our Quantitative Research department. The co-op will report to the Manager of the ABS Business Intelligence group and will be exposed to all aspects of the data acquisition process, including requirements definition, development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn, maintain, support and enhance the existing data acquisition framework
- Create new applications, reports and automated tests using the existing framework
- Design and maintain tools to analyze the performance of preproduction code
- Build out the data acquisition framework for new providers and asset classes
- Improve product documentation
Required Skills and Credentials:
- Top academic credentials in pursuit of a MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
- Experience with .NET development platform preferred
- Experience with C# or Java
- Strong object-oriented programming skills
- SQL skills
- Ability to critically evaluate and improve current processes
- Proven ability to produce quality work under time pressure
- Excellent technical skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn
