Resp & Qualifications
Under the direction of the Manager or Supervisor, the essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Resolves enrollment errors and subsidy payment discrepancy reports in accordance with corporate and ACA guidelines. Enrolls/ Disenrolls/ Corrects member policies in accordance with all related SOPs. Advanced knowledge of enrollment, billing and ACA reconciliation practices required.
Performs all basic billing, policy-level, and group account reconciliation. Resolves billing/enrollment aspects of customer inquiries requiring some knowledge of claims systems. If assigned to section service functions, handles phone and written inquiries from exchanges, third parties, and service related to enrollment & billing.
Other duties as assigned.
Required: High School degree plus 2-3 years enrollment & billing, service, or claims experience for internal hires, and 3-5 years of enrollment & billing, service, or claims experience for external hires.
Abilities/Skills: Thorough knowledge of enrollment, billing, and reconciliation in a fast paced, demanding environment. Systems knowledge of Facets or other core enrollment processing software, automated workflows, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office required. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, mathematical, PC literacy, keyboard, and problem-solving skills. Can handle multiple and shifting priorities.
Preferred: 2 years college in applicable field. Previous experience working with electronic enrollment or claims processing in the healthcare industry.
