Job Title: Bookkeeper Accounts Payable

Department: Financial Services

Reports To: VP/Financial Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary:
Compiles and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Processing invoices by reviewing prices, coding and approvals to enter into the system.
Scan invoices for e-filing and property manager approval.
Confirm receipt of material and/or services performed by vendor.
Modify invoices approved by managers.
Resolve billing problems or errors with buyers and or vendors by reconciling with the purchase order
Answer all vendor inquiries
Match checks with invoices for filling. Maintain filing of hardcopy invoices. Provide invoices when requested by auditors, accountants, managers.
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
Assists in monthly closings.

Requirements:
Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in MS Office
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
