Personal Assistant to Owner

Part-time

Founder of organization looking for personal assistant to support on personal and professional tasks.

Looking for someone available 4-6 hours per day, 5 days a week, to help with tasks as needed.

Expected range of work:

Support on moving from San Francisco to DC - may need help locating new apartment, furnishing it, etc.

Help setting up a home office

Booking and arranging travel

Managing calendar

Drafting and responding to emails on my behalf

Managing doctors appointments

Support for small dog, taking him to the vet, groomer, and on walks

Managing expenses and reimbursements

Keeping track of to-do list

Supporting on events, such as political fundraisers

Managing contact database

Running personal and professional errands

Support on book project, such as helping to vet editors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (currently obtaining or already obtained)
  • Has had 3 years experience as a personal assistant previously
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and FaceTime
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality
  • Good at strategizing and problem solving

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 to $50.00 /hour

Experience:

  • management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Personal Assistant: 3 years (Required)
