Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend, WA (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is looking for a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in our new retail operation. Position Description

The pharmacist is an active member of the patient care team, providing medication management using clinical skills, working closely with the providers and nursing staff to guarantee safe, evidence-based pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist provides proper patient education and counseling of all prescriptions and/or over the counter medications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Pharmacy required
Current Washington State Pharmacy License in good standing
Current Washington State pharmacy preceptor preferred
Knowledge and experience in hospital and/or retail pharmacy and clinical pharmacy preferred
Computer experience with pharmacy systems preferred
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a hospital and/or retail pharmacy preferred
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification (Inpatient) required within one (1) year of date of hire
Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications and licenses indicated above, and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements

Schedule

1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week; M-F
