What is a virtual interview?
Virtual interviews help employers connect with job seekers when they are not in the same physical location. Since hiring is a human process, employers would like to talk with you online (chat, video or phone) to see if you meet the requirements for the job.

Will you be able to verbally verify your clearance status with a member of our Recruiting Team during the event?
We are seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to support DoD mission systems. You will be part of a highly productive, skilled team that collaborates closely with Air Force customers to support their important missions. You will be working directly with the Air Force customers, subject matter experts, and lead engineers on deployment, operations, design and architecture issues and assisting the team and customers with troubleshooting issues that may occur.
More About the Role:
Operate in all phases of the application lifecycle.
Use of industry proven design patterns and open source tools is encouraged, along with a dedication to staying educated on current technology trends.
Provide design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance.
Leading an agile team that is part of a larger effort, where communication skills and the ability to execute within the established development process are paramount to your and the team's success.
Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Math or related engineering disciplines, with
5+ years of experience with software engineering
Knowledge and ability with building and running thick or thin client applications
Ability to work with stakeholders to develop and track requirements to program using object-oriented code development
Ability to lead and coach less experienced engineers
Debugging and run time skills needed
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
An active DoD TS/SCI
An understanding of networking fundamentals, to include an understanding of the OSI model, network routing, and traffic analysis
Understanding and skills in applying graph theory to real-world problems
Experience working with Maven, Node.js, NPM, Go, js, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Ansible, and Angular
