Director of Recruitment & Engagment
Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a dynamic marketing person to fill the newly created position of Director of Recruitment and Engagement. In this exciting role, you will develop a strategic marketing program to recruit foster parents across the regions served by Arrow in Texas, focusing on families with a heart to foster school age, teens and medically fragile youth in their homes. The Director will lead a team of staff exclusively focused on the recruitment, training and certification of foster and adoptive parents. This position requires extensive knowledge of marketing and advertising, including social media, along with a proven ability to develop strategic relationships with communities, programs and partnerships to advance our agency in developing homes for youth in need. The Director of Foster Parent Recruitment and Engagement will work collaboratively with the Regional Director and local Program Directors on strengthening relationships with current foster parents, ensuring they feel supported, appreciated and recognized for their heroic efforts.
This position directly supervises staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Arrow Child & Family Ministries policies, State and Federal laws and policy and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance including coaching and future performance development; manager training needs through learning management system; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintaining quality improvement goals and addressing at regularly scheduled staff meetings. Overseeing Client delivery and insuring performance measurements and outcomes are met.

Education, Licensure and/or Experience:
Bachelors' degree in communications, marketing or advertising. Human Services will be considered with recruitment or development experience.
Three years of experience with supervisory roles preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the ministry
Ability to apply Critical thinking and sound decision making skills to standardized and variable situations, in alignment with set policies and practices
Valid driver's license, appropriate insurance and reliable car
Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test
Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment
Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state
Must receive a minimum of 30 hours of initial and annual training
Must be 21 years of age or older
